Wondering if I can load Vegas Pro 18 onto a flash drive to use between desktop and notebook. Unloading and reloading when travelling is a bother. I sometimes work offline remotely, so would be more convenient to carry a stick instead.

"9. How many computers can I use VEGAS Pro on?
You can use VEGAS Pro (14.0 and later) simultaneously on 2 devices. There are 2 ways to deactivate a device so you can activate a different one:
Visit your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used only once a month.
From the VEGAS Pro Help menu choose Deactivate the Software on this PC. This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required."

Once you have VP18 installed on your two devices you can very quickly and easily copy and update all manor of presets using Vegasaur in its Presets Manager function:

I use it frequently to harmonise custom project templates custom render templates, custom layouts, and custom pan/crops between my main desktop and laptop. Vegasaur does a lot more besides obviously.
Run the actual project on your flash drive of choice.
