i don't think anyone knows what you are describing.
Screen shot, please?

I just did a test by dragging out a Noise into the timeline and I did not have any tiling. Maybe you have a settings problem?

What specific 'noise' did you drag out?

Maybe the OP got one of his Media Generator preset windows docked?
To undock a window, click the handle (6 dots) and drag it out of the docking area.
Uncheck (in VPro 13) "Allow windows to dock" in Options/Preferences/Display, if you prefer it so.

Deselect "FX-Bypass" on the top of the preview window.

Perhaps we could be more helpful if you tell us where you see the tiling:

Preview screen

I've made a screen Grab of the problem but I don't see how to post it so everyone can see what I see. By the way, I don't know if this makes a difference, but I'm using Windows 8.

The tiling is in the Video Preview window. When I drag in the standard noise from the Media Generator I get 6 rows in the Video Preview.

You most likely have a video card/ GPay acceleration issue or video card driver issue or project properties issue. Please fill in your system information and make it visible to the forum. Try switching off GPU acceleration.

I can't change the GPU acceleration setting. I posted screen shots of my system because this is my Laptop and my primary machine is a Desktop. I don't want to be posting multiple systems.
OldSmoke wrote on 5/8/2015, 9:48 PM
You should at least post the spec of the system that is affected.

This is the effected computer, I wouldn't post spec's on another computer. It's not happening on the other computer.

Does this happen at other preview resolutions? For example, at Best Full?

Does it happen when preview is paused? Or when preview is running?

Does it happen with more than one type of input media? For example AVCHD, MOV, etc?
farss wrote on 5/9/2015, 6:46 AM
You have your preview window set to Draft/Auto.
Try changing it to Best/Full.

Also what are your project properties and have you changed them since you added the noise?

Bob.

papaf3d wrote on 5/10/2015, 9:12 PM
It only happens with the noise media generator items. Everything is set to default, I just installed Vegas on my new Laptop and never changed anything. All the other media shows up and renders just fine. I changed all of the preview window settings to see if this did anything but nothing changed.
papaf3d wrote on 5/21/2015, 7:12 AM
Well I guess based on the dead air, no one knows anything about this.
Gary James wrote on 5/21/2015, 9:13 AM
You say you can't turn off GPU processing. Have you looked at this setting in the Vegas Preferences?
