If I follow the links and change versions, I'll get the url mentioning newsletter and eol-sale. Interesting.

Hi @VEGAS_CommunityManager
When will the same upgrade link be available for Vegas Movie Studio users?

Using the only official public link below, it is still only offering Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13 and not v14 ?
I have been asking about this for almost a year now and still nothing has changed or being fixed.

I can't say a definitive date but this link will be available soon.

It sounds like you selected VEGAS Movie Studio Platinum, put in your VMS Platinum 13 serial and didn't get an upgrade offer for VMS Platinum 14?! Can you, please, send me a personal message? This way we can sort this out and not go off topic.

I think Derek the Dr Zen is very much on topic (upgrade to Vegas 14) here. The link he refers to still behaves the way he says for me as well. Everything he and others have said about that link not working for MVMSP 14 e.g. in this thread still stands. To test once again, I just selected VEGAS Movie Studio Platinum, put in my (Sony) MS Platinum 13 serial and didn't get an upgrade offer for MAGIX VMS Platinum 14?! Not that it matters to me personally any more as I upgraded when I finally got informed of an upgrade offer.

Same here with my Magix Vegas MS13 Suite Serial No. I only get offered an upgrade to MS13! But like vkmast I'm not bothered as I have purchased MS14 anyway. But it must be frustrating for customers who expect https://support2.magix.com/customer/vegas/upgrade

to be up to date as after all MS14 has been out for a few months now.

Looking at the URL link - to see "eol" in the address (End OF Life???) now has me concerned that MAGIX may discontinue Vegas - just as I made the switch over this week. Am I just being paranoid???

Don't worry @Cliff Etzel. We definitely will continue VEGAS Pro.

@VEGAS_CommunityManager - Thanks for the clarification - I finally made the switch back to Vegas Pro after several years in the Adobe Ecosystem - needless to say it has been a love-Hate relationship... In line with how I felt about Vegas Pro after version 11 no longer worked well for me. I hope VP15 will have the dark interface like VMS14 does - It really helps ease Eye strain when doing marathon editing sessions. Remove much of the fluff and get the app stable. I'm running out of options if Vegas fails me again.

Those interested in upgrade pricing offer of MVMSP 14 might try the link mentioned in the last post of this thread...

You'll find upgrade button now on the product pages of vegascreativesoftware.com and an overview here: http://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/upgrade/

To get the upgrade price you'll need an qualifiying product in your account or serialnumber.

The old deprecated temporary upgrade page will disappear soon.

Well , it all remains a mess , following the link that m2016 here posted ( http://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/upgrade ) , the vegas pro edit upgrade costs 199 US $ . My daughters just told me the same is at facebook offered at 149 US $ . ( facebook ! )

I really don't understand a company not being able to organise things a little  better and straight forward like sony used to do and all other companies are doing .  Very frustrating .

( win10 pro operating systems , all most silly garbage and kid's stuff of microsoft entirely removed , never update win 10 unless required for editing purposes or ( maybe ) after a while when updates have proven to be reliable and no needless microsoft kid's stuff is added in the updates )

Cliff Etzel wrote on 6/13/2017, 11:22 AM

FYI - If you go to VideoGuys website - their price to upgrade is less than the MAGIX upgrade price and they're also offering an additional 5% discount code - Cost for VP14 Edit shows as $170 and change for me...

wilvan wrote on 6/13/2017, 12:48 PM

Well , I just ( 1 minute ago ) received an e-mail offering the upgrade at 149 EURO'S , again different . I am not without financial means , a bracket HPZ820 costs more :-) , but am very frustrated about the lack of logic .

That's all .
