Unable to render

I am using Vegas Movie studio platinum 10. I have made multiple movies with video, pictures and musics in the past with no problem. I have been working on a new movie. It kept crashing while I was working on it, but I finally finished the project. When I tried making a movie, it began to render, but stopped at about 335 and gave an error message of the system is low on memory.

As I had a 2009 computer, after fulling around with, I decided that perhaps my computer was too slow (4GB RAM). So I purchased a new computer - 12 GB RAM, and 2 TB memory. After transferring the file and software, I tried again, but it still stoped and said system low on memory.

PLEASE HELP!

MSP10 has problems with high resolution pictures. What resolution (dimensions) are your pictures?

Search the forum for what to do to lower the resolution.

Are you using Movie Studio 32bit or 64bit?

The first post says the OP is using VMSP 10, which was 32bit only.
So the software is running up against a built-in memory limitation.
You need to upgrade to MSP 12 or 13 or 'Search' username MSmart, words low memory, date any date for a patch, as in here or here.

Not sure, however I believe they are a very high resolution. They are taken with a CANON DSR, and always are big when I open them in editing software

Follow MSmart's advice on high resolution pics and read Ivan Lietaert's post in the latter link in my previous post.

A low memory error could be related to the amount of FREE drive space on either your program drive (C:) or the drive you are rendering the video to. Or even the drive where Vegas stores your temporary files.
