unplugging pc from internet = vegas error message (changed hardware)?

Hellu=)

When I turn off my internet adapter or pull my lan cable out, Vegas does not start... :/

I get this error message box :

It can't be that I have to be online for this software to work!?!

For the related general advice please read point 11 (and the link there) in this FAQ (maybe 9 and 10 as well). If that does not help, try Support.

Yeah, seems that I will have to escalate this issue to the support team ...

According to the FAQ, I can use Vegas on offline computers. (which is logical because I would not support the software if it requires an internet connection..lol) There is no reason why Vegas cannot start up when I unplug my internet line on this pc... Guess something is amiss that needs a fix here or there;)
