Same here. Takes a long time to create windows that used to be quick upon starting. Just opening the program then closing causes it to crash. Previous rev had no issues like this. Fast to open, ...
@RogerS Thanks bro i just did that you saved me I had projects due. i really appreciate your comment. If you have a YouTube, Instagram and Facebook please post so I can add you or you add me I will list mine below thanks again.
I downloaded the trial version of vegas pro19. I have a few problems with it, help!
Boris FX Primatte Studio didn't download.
The font on some audio effects are unreadable, very small. I remembered I had the same problem when I got Vegas Pro 18. I fixed it by going in Preferences>Display> Disabled (unchecked) the box High DPL scaling. I did the same thing in Vegas Pro 19. Now when I click on the audio effects. the Program crashes!
Looking at @GINO-PERROTTA other two posts, it says your trial period has ended with one of the plugins. That's not a bug. Buy it and activate it. You also in your other posts are looking for the plugins for VP19 which are not included in trial versions. No bugs. Buy the program (VP19) and activate the addons that come with the program including the izotope that come with Soundforge Studio when you buy Vegas Pro, not Vegas Edit. This isn't a bug as you say it is. You are looking to try those particular plugins? Download the trial versions of them from their websites.
Which brings to question, which version of Vegas did you download?
As for the font size issue..
AFAIK, you won't be able to download another trial of VP19, and you failed to say what bugs were. Not getting a plugin is not a bug.
Reyfox I guess you missed the other posts. My posts were more about crashing and Magix's response. To answer you question I downloaded the trial version from Boris, if you need help they are prompt in their response
Vegas is the only program I use and I've been using it forever since Sony had it! I use Vegas Pro 18.
Please read the post above the issue with the font size in Vegas 18 was resolved by someone on this forum. Vegas Pro 19 trial version had the same problem, when I tried to fix it the same way (see above) not only it crashed but Vegas 18 didn't work anymore either! I opened a ticket, by the time they responded I had already uninstalled Vegas 18 and 19 and reinstalled Vegas 18 Pro. It works fine!
I download a trial to see how an "upgrade" works, I didn't read anywhere in the publicity I receive daily, that a plug-in that comes with the "upgrade" doesn't come with the trial version. If this is true, I can see already the response from these companies pointing fingers at each other in case of problems!
@GINO-PERROTTA with a trail version, I can understand a plugin not working that is suppose to be supplied with the software.
As for the font issues... it's one that I haven't read about in the forum about crashing.
When you uninstall any version of Vegas, you are only uninstalling it only. Whatever plugins you have or previous versions of Vegas will not be uninstalled. With trial version of the plugin or it being water marked until you pay for it. Boris will let you install their software and use to your hearts content trying everything in it, but you will have a water mark on the screen. NewBlue FX does the same.
When I downloaded the trial version of VP19 when it was released, I downloaded the "Pro" version because I wanted to try Stream. It also came with Boris Primatte Studio and something. I didn't install it because I have Continuum Complete. But with past versions of Vegas Suites I've bought with Boris plugins, if you weren't careful, the entire Continuum Complete would be installed. People would come to the forum asking why they see the "X" on a specific plugin not included with the purchase but installed on their computer. Which version of Vegas (Edit, Pro, Post) did you download? And I believe Primatte was in the Vegas download manager when I tried the trial.
You don't have the issue with the font size on some audio plug-inn?
I am aware a bunch programs load when you download Vegas, the companies are trying to let you try their programs.
On my other computer I have some Universal Audio plug-inn, one of them crashed all the time when used on two tracks in Vegas. Universal answered within hrs and explained why it crashed.
I am a musician, I deal with BOSE, YAMAHA and others, thank God not often, but when I needed support these companies are very prompt and great at solving problems, you don't mind to pay more for a company who supports their products well!
In the video world of upper NLE's, Vegas is in the lower cost group depending on how you "outfit" it. Resolve has the cash behind it because of it's hardware sales. Adobe, subscriptions all over the place. Media Composer, subscription or perpetual at $1300. The cost for me to upgrade to VP19 Edit? $107. That's just a tad more than some consumer editors that do less.
Comparing Yamaha to Vegas Creative isn't really fair.
