Unfortunately the latest update did not fix any of the bugs I've been experiencing:

  • Crashes when attempting to load VST plugins
  • Occasional crashing when attempting to render project
  • User interface becomes inoperable when activating external preview monitor
  • Occasional crashing when inserting a video efx
  • Occasional crashing when exiting the program
  • Hangs on "Creating Windows" in opening splash screen for 3 to 4 minutes

I hope these issues will be addressed in future updates. As it is now, it's very hard for me to work on any project, even when I'm running it in compatibility mode (Win 8) and as Administrator.
Fortunately I still have Sony Vegas 13 installed, and that is a much more stable program.

vegas movie studio 14 suite crashes since the windows 10 update 12/11/2017 and can't find the 12 videos I've spent 20 hours working on. All the same project just saving often. I'm trying a reinstall but that's taking 3 hours. I think I'm done with VMS 14
