Just a quick two questions...I'm currently using Vegas Movie Studio 11 and looking to upgrade to version 14.
My first question...what happens to projects created in Version 11. Can I open these in 14 and edit & render as before? (I was running into the known bug about out of memory when rendering although I have a 64bit system).
Second, what is the primary difference in Movie Studio 14 and Movie Studio 14 platinum?

Yes but you should run the free trial to confirm it for any critical projects.

Yes, note that if you have third-party 32-bit plug-ins in v 11 they will only load into the 32-bit version. The Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 product line was 32-bit only. Magix Vegas Movie Studio 14 product line (and the rebranded Magix Vegas Movie Studio 13 line) is 64-bit only.
