Upgrade to newest version from steam

Joshua-Villegas wrote on 5/11/2020, 7:30 PM

Hello, I cant seem to find the email for support so i'll post here. I'm trying to upgrade to the newest version of vegas pro (17), but i cannot find my serial number in my steam version. In options it is just blank and on steam there seams to be no way to see the serial number either. Please help, vegas pro 14 doesn't utilize my video card and rendering it mostly useless.

Please refer to the following link to a post on the forum from a year ago about a similar question:

Advice on that post said that Steam Vegas Pro versions don't have a serial number, and the suggestion was to contact Vegas Creative Software sales department directly to see if upgrade pricing might perhaps be available to you. Another suggestion was to wait to see if Steam release a VP17 version at some time in the future.

Thank you, do you have the number to contact support? I looked at the support page and it’s says a link to chat with an associate will appear during working hours. Doesn’t seem to be appearing even in daytime

Like so many companies in recent years, it is very had to find a contact phone number - I certainly can't find one for Vegas Pro. You'll probably need to wait for the Chat link to appear during business hours on 12 May. Please note that at the time of writing this, it is currently 04:52 (12 May) in Berlin and 21:52 (11 May) in Wisconsin USA - I am not certain which Vegas Pro/MAGIX site handles sales enquiries.

You might ask at infoservice@magix.net (from https://www.magix.com/int/support/customer-service/ purchase consultation contact). As mentioned here.
