Upgrade to Sony vegas pro

IF I own movie studio, can I upgrade to Sony vegas pro 18? or do I just have to buy the pro product first?

There is no "Sony" Vegas Pro 18, only VEGAS Pro 18 (from MAGIX).

But "As a VEGAS Movie Studio owner, now you can upgrade to the award-winning VEGAS Pro for a special price!" Go to the website's Online Shop to see if it applies to the basic Movie Studio version as well. "You can upgrade at a reduced price with a previous version or other authorized product. Please have your login details or serial number ready."
