Upgrade to the impending Vegas 16

This may not be a question forum users can answer, however my question is, will the upgrade to Vegas Pro 16 be free to current registered owners of Vegas Pro 15 (384)?

There is the current upgrade offer "Purchase VEGAS Pro 15 & get VEGAS Pro 16 for FREE!" Besides that, I don't think the upgrade to the new version will be free this time either. Read this though.
