Using 2 screens to edit (with Vegas Pro edit 15)

I have a question about using a second screen with HDMI (I am editing on a laptop, and I've hooked up another screen with a HDMI cable - but for the moment it's just an identical image on both screens)...Does anyone know how to use both screens as a shared workspace to edit?

I had a look on the Vegas site an in the user manual, but I didn't have any luck finding the info yet.

If someone can please point me in the right direction, that would be great!

Thank you.

Google "dual monitor setup" + "windows 10"

In the last step above, select Extend these dispalys.
