There are probably several more to be found...

I'll stay in Vegas.

Yeah, I've also read the first link you sent me from a previous search but it seems like most of these are associated with Vegas Pro. This is more complicated than it seems. The reason why I wanted to use HC Encoder is because I've used it before in the past for encoding some of my DVD movies. I was using it together with DVD-Rebuilder (a must) and compressed to fit on a either a 4.7GB or 8.5 DL disc and the results were astounding, but I was wondering if I can use this to render non-DVD format files from Vegas and then encode it to DVD format.

I know this is confusing and I don't even know where to begin. The results from google searches explains nothing other than all these timesync, Avisynth and to do this and that, which I HAVE ZERO CLUE as to where to start. It is like reading a different language. I have yet to find a step-by-step instruction as to how an encoder work with these kinds of projects (other than to succumbed to Sony's list) or work in conjunction with some sort of program. I know how to work with DVDRebuilder because the instructions were pretty easy, but it also took me a while to learn how to use it.
