v13 64 bit with 8GB RAM - constant crashing

Upgraded to 13 and cannot get through a single session without a crash. Even using the explorer window can hang can causing it to crash. Sometime it just crashes out of nowhere!

Also, really unhappy the no multi-tool is gone (as far as I can see)

UPDATE: Just rendered a video. The cookie cutter effect applied to a whole video lane was ignored on render!!

Which build are you on?
GPU acceleration on/off?
Which template did you use?
And what is/was "the no multi-tool"?

• Latest build
• No GPU
• Didn't use a template.
• In version 12 and previous one tool did length edit and fades without having to click on buttons on the tool bar below.

You "didn't use a template"? So what were your render settings?

As for the Editing tool changes, that's the devs' "touch-friendly" approach for us.

Random crashing say after 30 second to a minute can often be a heat problem. Are you running a program that can tell you how hot your machine is getting? Can be very frustrating.

Try reducing your Preview RAM.
