You may he waiting awhile. If memory serves VP was on Humble earlier this year, but was for VP16. Who knows if it will come back to the HB.

HumbleBundle offers previously have been for an earlier VP version, not the current one.

@FayFen - Yeah, I’ve had several. I just delete ‘em.

FayFen wrote on 10/12/2021, 3:54 AM

I don't know why it moved to here? I received it as a VMS16P user, as was that offer 2 months ago $99 for V18, so I post it there. What's "nice" about Magix is that one is always just a short pulse from a new price offer.

* Yes Grazie, if one accumulate versions it's time to consolidate. I have no need for V19 now.

@FayFen as the offer is most likely aimed at VMS users only, I think you did post correctly. Moving it to the VMS forum.

@FayFen You might have to wait a few years before VP19 is on Humble Bundle if VP16 was this years offer.

That's just fine Eric, I don't think I'll ever go that high... Only last Friday I struck a deal on practically new 4K Panasonic camcorder (60% street price) and I even don't see me doing 4K soon.

Recently I edit a 3 HD cameras Jazz gig with VMS16P and not even used the multicameras feature, it was more flexible without.

Even though I've long had a 4K camera, I still finish in HD (Blu-Ray). The great advantage of shooting in 4K for an HD finish is that you can zoom in on the 4K image down to 1/4 size on Vegas Pro's timeline and still maintain HD specs (25% x 3840 x 2160 = 1920 x 1080). There's so much extra freedom recording in 4K but finishing in HD.

I only have a 1080 camera. What annoys me about consumer 4k is that most PAL cameras only shoot 4k at 25p not 50p.

TreeTops wrote on 10/12/2021, 6:24 PM

Don't some phone cameras do 50p in PAL land?

I don't think PAL/NTSC exists with phones. Most appear to shoot 30p wherever you are.

Considering that I paid $130 for Vegas Movie Studio Premium v9 and v11, these dirt cheap prices for Vegas Pro Edit pretty much take Movie Studio's place as the most powerful budget option on the market.
