Vanishing buttons

Roberto_9k wrote on 1/21/2022, 10:54 AM

I recently bought Vegas pro 19 458 and every time I hover over a button or change tabs the buttons vanish.
Here's a video to better explain:

Windows 10
Intel i7-9700k
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070
ROG Strix Z390-F gaming Motherboard
Vengeance 32 GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM
Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus 2TB

I've already tried unticking the option "Use GPU processing for ACES color management" but it had no effect.

@Roberto_9k Hi, that's messed up isn't it 🥴 check you have the latest Studio driver for your graphics card, reinstall it anyway & go to C:\Users\'your name\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\19.0, delete everything in that folder, Vegas will take a bit of time to open next time but will rebuild all those files, 🤷‍♂️

Gave it a go and nothing's different. Reinstalled studio drivers and cleared appdata. 😔

You might want to search (Find") "nahimic" for a possible solution.

Huh so after a while I just started trying random things. Just turning things off, restarting, then turn on again, restarting again. After I turned "use high dpi scaling" off (in Display) and restarted it didn't do anything so I put it back on; this time when I restarted it seemed to work... closed and rebooted a few times to make sure it stuck. I'm now just making a few test videos and it seems to be fixed.

I dunno, computers just be weird sometimes 😅

@Roberto_9k please deactivate the WPF acceleration in the internal preferences.

@Roberto_9k In VEGAS Pro 18 and 19 holding SHIFT while clicking Options adds Internal... to the dropdown menu of Options.
