I have been using vegas 11 for years now and to finally go to 64 bit on my windows 10 computer I decided to upgrade to vegas 13. On 11 I could 'render loop region' into a movie (save to my hard drive), select any format of audio/video quality (say AppleTV720-24 MP4) and just crank out that section. I record long music video takes or concerts which I break into separate songs/takes. So I import the whole project from my camera, then take a segment off the front, edit it, and render it. Works fast. This time I wanted to be a bit fancier and use Titler Pro 3, but couldn't get them to work together. So I upgraded to Vegas 13. Now, when I push the Make Movie button (or select from project menu) in 13, select 'save to my hard drive', I can check the box 'render loop region' but 13 renders in a higher resolution than I need or want. If I select 'advance options' I can select the AppleTV 720P24 option, BUT, it no longer does 'render loop region' - it tries to render the whole thing! 13 Ignores the 'render loop region' box on the previous screen/window once you push advanced options. So instead of 1 to 3 minute song, it tries to render the whole hour long project. So I can either render in more resolution than I need for my 1 to 3 minutes, or I can get the resolution I want, but it will render the whole #$@#$ file. This is a huge step backwards for my work flow - is there anyway to default the MP4 to the settings I want to use, and used to use in Vegas 11??? 😡 Or is there a way to make Render Loop Region work once advanced selected?
