Yes ... well, on the two pre-existing VP19 .veg's that I've tried so far.

On installing b648 on my desktop, the install went through the "too many activations" process and I had to de-activate the activation on the very computer on which I was trying to install the update - that hasn't happened for quite a while. The install on my laptop didn't work so I'm currently [slowly] downloading it again.

Cameras: Sony FDR-AX100E; GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition

I assume you can expect an announcement in the Forum News section later in the day from the VE GAS team in Madison WI US.

I'm sure @NickHope will also update his Download FAQ (link in @Dexcon's comment) in due course.

And besides your MAGIX Account you can download it from MAGIX Download Center https://www.magix.com/int/support/my-service-center/product-downloads/

I decided to do the update when prompted in VP19. It took about 3 minutes for the download to complete.

Got the window that says earlier version detected, and continued with the installation. After installing and running VP`19, the Welcome window appears to activate and register. Installer Laucher appears, and presto, I am up and running. No problems with activation.

To be sure, I checked my account to make sure only one VP19 is activated, and only one activation for VP19 on my account.

The update went without any issues.

A little Christmas present from the team... they've been hearing your cries about b643, but it took some time to eliminate the HEVC bugs many users have been reporting. They finally got it sorted... Hopefully this will give VEGAS 19 users a final update that allows them to use all of 19's features without those bugs.

More bug fixes and new features on the way for 20 as well before too long... They've been working extra hard on improving VEGAS lately.

Credit to the VEGAS team for releasing this and not forcing users onto VP20 to get vital stability fixes. This is the sort of the move that wins customer loyalty. 👍

+1 100%

They've always wanted to fix this, but it was a tricky bug to fix, and it's hard to dedicate resources to fixing bugs for old versions when you have a small team.

Plus, it really means Extended Service. A feature that more or less have been present since I came into Magix circles and definitely another reason for me to stay in VEGAS.

I am very grateful that Magix took on VEGAS from Sony. The way the (excellent, empathic and responsive) original developers team was kept, the ordered and versatile licensing system in place and even the marketing and pricing (more so recently) that within the years has made VEGAS accessible with various interesting bundles and options.

It all contributes to me wanting to participate and add into this forum relevant conversations whenever I may.
Thanks indeed.
