Are there Effects installed at the computer?

Yes there is, what happened it is installed on my house laptop I already had it on another laptop the up was running Vegas 20 tried to start other laptop and that's when it came up with errors so uninstalled from both laptops installed but still comes up with errors. Thanks barry

You can try to uninstall first the effects from one laptop.
Restart Windows and try to install Vegas Pro.
When it succeeds try to find out which Effect gives the trouble by trying to install them one by one and look each time if Vegas will work
