VEGAS 6.0

I re-installed my Vegas 6.0 on a New PC but I cannot use it and get systematically this Message when I want to import a mediafile:

"the file is an unsupported format". Could you help??

You actually said Sony Vegas 6?.... yeah, you gonna run into a lot of issues like that and more.... That version is too old my friend!

If you meant Vegas Pro 16, you need to be specific as to what kind of file you are importing.

This may or may not apply to your case: Older versions of Vegas Pro than 14.0 are licensed under a system (as previously used by Sony) which permits use on multiple computers by one user; after an unspecified number of installations on different or updated PCs you may need to contact support to reset your "installation count".
