Vegas keeps crashing whenever I open a new file to edit

So after a whole day of work on a CoD montage, I've been stuck with Vegas 18 since it keeps crashing whenever I try to import a new file to the application. Doesn't matter which clip I choose, it crashes with all of them.

It didn't do this until now, I've tried to uninstall and reinstall but nothing works. Tried also opening a less recent edit (with much much lesser files) and nope, still crashes on new imported clips.

Don't know what to do, I can't accept to ruin a whole day and months of gaming for this. Please help!

@Sunr1seKllr Also please post images direct to the forum using the upload button rather than to an external site.

Build 284 is the very first release of Vegas Pro 18 and there have been 5 or 6 updates since that initial release, the last release being build 527. So the first thing that you should do is to go to your MAGIX My Account and from your Vegas Pro 18 record under the My Products listing, download Vegas Pro 18's installer which will provide you with that last build of Vegas Pro 18. Once that is done, see if the crash problem still occurs. If it does, get back to the forum along with all the detailed information as requested in the link "important information required to help you" as provided by NickHope in the first comment after your original post.

@Sunr1seKllr judging by the S/N shown in your screenshot, unfortunately it seems that you are not using a legit version (properly licensed by MAGIX) of the software. Be sure to use legally purchased versions. There is no support here for cracked or pirated versions. Try and contact the party that you purchased your VP 18 from and ask for a refund.

Please note that VEGAS Pro 19 Edit is currently very inexpensively available legally from HumbleBundle. Please see the link here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/humble-bundle-vegas-pro-19-edit--143663/ (An opportunity for savvy buyers to nab a (legit) bargain.)
