New Blue plugins work in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of SMS 12. Not sure about the others since I don't have them.

Thanks. How would I know if they work or not?

Crimso,
SCS Partner products page has this on Twixtor
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/twixtor
MSP12 Suite has the MB Quick Looks 1.4 (32/64-bit) add-on here
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/moviestudiopp
It may just work even without a S/N.

All the products mentioned have free trials, and they all publish system requirements.

NewBlueFX needs a serial, but it seems like MBQL works! I'll start up MS and let you know.
Crimsonine wrote on 4/5/2013, 9:19 AM
Yup, MBQL works fine! Where could I purchase a NBFX serial?

*this one: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/moviestudiopp
which program is that? the NewBlue one at the bottom?

Unless some New Blue plugins were packaged with your Vegas installation when you purchased it (the VMS Platinum 12 Suite), you will download and register New Blue plugins with New Blue.
acdtech wrote on 4/14/2013, 3:57 PM
I downloaded the latest built of of the suite which works fine. The original download did not included a serial number for NewBlueFX. I have also a licensed copy suite 11 with a serial number purchased retail but the serial number in the box does not work. Was there supposed to be a serial number included in the original downloaded purchase for the suite?
vkmast wrote on 4/15/2013, 8:55 AM
acdtech,
if you purchased the download version of the software, you should have received the serial numbers in the Sony Creative Software Order Confirmation e-mail.
Try contacting Customer Support, if you don't have that and/or if your serial number(s) included in the v11 box won't work in the v11 version.
See musicvid's post re NewBlue.

If a plugin works in Vegas Pro 11 or 12, it will also work in Movie Studio 12.
vkmast wrote on 6/21/2013, 2:37 PM
jetdv,
can this be so categorical?
An example from the SCS Partner Products pages
Mayhem plug-in is compatible with Vegas Pro version 8 and higher. It is not compatible with any version of Vegas Movie Studio software.
