Try Ebay. I doubt that you could buy it from SCS now that 11 has been released.

Why do you need to upgrade?

As far as I remember, Canon EOS's footage was difficult to handle in VP9. It was causing lots of memory failures, and you had to transcode the clips via Cineform Neoscene to avoid these problems.

As opposed to this, I could make hundreds of movies in VP10 with EOS footage without any such issue.

But no better idea than PeterDuke's for getting VP10 nowaday, sorry.

Just backing up whats already been said really. V10 was a lot more efficient with Canon footage compaired to 9. That and dumping the latest QuickTime version to the smaller QuickTimeAlt version which also helps handle Canon footage much better on the TL.

Just a question, has anyone actually asked SCS if they would be prepaired to sell a licence for v10? or is Ebay really the only other option. Its not the first time i have read a request for someone to buy an older version. SCS could gain from this.

The company policy seems clear enough.
Support / Ordering from Sony Creative Software / Can I purchase older versions of your products?
e.g. UK Amazon this morning listed several copies of VPro 10 (also upgrade ed.) still available direct from them. US Amazon had some too (´'fulfilled by' option).

Right, well thats pretty clear.

Amazon, yes of course. Interesting to see v10 gets 5 stars and v11 only gets 2 with terrible reviews.. ouch..
But at least 10 is still available.
