Not sure exactly what you mean. If you want to delete all the events (or portion there of) under the dark blue loop region just hit the delete key. if you want to get rid of the looping behaviour, then click on the loop button in the play bar, and finally (the one I guess you want) to reset the loop region, the easiest IMO is to quickly press I then o to set the in/out points together, thus resetting the loop region. That work?
I think what he refers to is those yellow markers. I've been using Vegas pro since version 13 and still don't know how to and no they don't make it clear how to. I just restart Vegas, which is annoying. Anyone know how?
Using I and O keys does work even if a bit 'clunky'. I've not found the loop I/Os in Vegas Pro to be too much of a problem but is an incredibly irritating problem in Sound Forge Pro because I am usually zoomed way in on SFP's timeline. I don't know how the looping in/out points get generated when not deliberately created but, happily, the same I/O keyboard hits work in SFP. Happy days are here again!
I have line 3 from @Cornico checked and I just click. Collapses every time for me on the click. If you don't want the cursor to move, you can CTRL-Click.

Worked for me in all VPro versions and one of the first things I set in Preferences!

@j-v - same here. That's always one of the first things I make sure is checked in the preferences. Been doing that as far back as I can remember!
