Vegas Pro 16 Picture-in-picture zoomed in box.

Hi, I'm a complete beginner in any form or video editing/creating and have Vegas Pro 16 only because it is likely to have the functions hobby software does not have.

What I am trying to do is have a "picture in picture" which is a zoomed in area of the video being processed. (sync'd to it)
In this instance, it is a video with an instrument panel and I want to select a box around one instrument and zoom in to that box (be able to define the % zoom or box size) and place that zoomed in area as a picture-in-picture area in an unimportant area of the video frame.

Remember "Idiot's Guide" please!

Reading the manual or the helpfiles helps you, but you have to place that video or image for the PIP on a higher track than the video on which it must appear.
Choose the window FX and on the many FX's you see scroll to the "Picture in Picture" and drag one of the now visible presets to the trackheader of the track with the PIP video.
With the handles on the PIP that you see in preview you can make all kinds of manipulation.

I made a big picture on which you can found what I described , but for the last 2 days it is impossible to upload and place here pictures, so I dropped it in my dropbox from where you can download it with this link:

This upload file problem has been reported to the admins.

@j-v good of you (and some others) to use workarounds.

I know but I think for this type of faults Magix is responsible and what starts to be a problem on friday is not solved before monday during that day.
And that is 👎👎👎👎👎 for Magix.

Thanks vkmast, I got as far as that in the first instance but it didn't do what I wanted or at least I could not get it to do what I wanted.
Imagine a video of an aircraft cockpit. I want a PIC in the bottom left which is an enlargement of just ONE instrument, to see what it is reading while the video plays.

This link shows what I'm trying to achieve.

Use your imagination, the program can do it.

Fi for a moving pip put on the uppertrack the same video and zoom in on the place with that pip you want, you can cut that file in only the piece you need or if you have enough on a still you can make that one with the program of the video from the lower track.
Find in the manual how you have to do that.
For enlarging things you can use the function of the uppertrack for "Track Motion".
