vegas pro 17 crashing when opening dialogue box 'render as'

Most of the time I can't open the 'render as' dialogue box. The program hangs and closes without any error message.

Please note this and clarify the version you are using as there is no Sony vegas pro 17. You can edit the title accordingly.

Is it so important that Magix bought the software of sony as sony bought it originally from sonic foundry ? I only want that my customers do not have to wait for their videos due to stupid crashing of a so named professional software program.

Magix sends me to the Sony community or support and Sony sends me to Magix, how foolish can it be.
