I have Vegas pro 18, when launched it tells me of an update that needs doing. after download the options are "Install now", which results in a error message saying it cant install when Vegas is running.
and "Install when program closes", which results in nothing happening when the program shuts and it offering to download again when opened again.
How do I force it to install its update?

You may need to check Task Manager first to see that there are no VEGAS processes running.
