Vegas Pro 19 and the Boris FX

I purchased the new Vegas Pro 19 with the Boris FX package. I installed the new version of Vegas and Boris Primatte Studio. I activated both Vegas and Boris with the activation keys assigned to me when I made my purchase. I see a bunch of Boris VFX and Transitions in my new Vegas Pro 19 but none are activated. They have a big RED X through the effect. I reactivated again using my provided password key, but still not activated. How to I get these effects working within my Vegas Pro 19?

The BorisFX serial number that you received is relevant only to the BorisFX plugin/s included with your Vegas Pro 19 purchase (e.g. Primatte Studio). It looks like that you've installed everything including all the unlicensed BorisFX plugins, hence the red X.

BorisFX have a video tutorial about how to install the licensed plugin/s that come with a Vegas Pro purchase as well as excluding those plugins to which there is no licence: . The relevant section of the tutorial is from 02:45. Even though Vegas Pro 18 Suite is used in the video, it would be expected that the same or a similar approach would apply for Vegas Pro 19.

BTW, if you considering purchasing any plugins/BCC Units directly from BorisFX, be aware that BorisFX BCC Units (of which Primatte Studio is a part of) installed on the same computer must all be from the same version. The current version is 2021.5, but the Primatte Studio version that came with Vegas Pro is likely to be from an earlier version like 2020. Check Primatte Studio's About menu to find out exactly which version it is.

Or click "SUPPORT new" at the top of this page and then "VEGAS Pro" to find that article

(I agree it's an "Important post" but one can try and use the Help center as there's a limit to how many of them can be pinned.)
