When you downloaded the trial version, you would have got the Vegas Pro installer which is about 5,907 KB in size. When clicking on that installer, a Select Files window should open which has 2 items listed: 1/ Vegas Pro 19; and 2/ VEGAS Deep Learning Models. It is the latter which is the AI bundle. So simply go back to the installer and run it again, but this time selecting only the VEGAS Deep Learning Models for installation (Vegas Pro 19 doesn't need to be installed again).

Thank you, I just like de-selecting everything when I install stuff. Re-installed the software and it's there now :)

Hi Dexcon,

I just bought and installed Vegas Pro 20, and I also installed the Deep Learning Models, but If I try to run 'upscaling' on my old DV material I get the message that the media cannot be upscaled because the upscaling model is not present on my system and that I have to download it.

Do you have any idea what is going wrong?

If this happened after you moved that FX in the chain before Pan/Crop you can ignore that message or save the project under a certain name , restart Windows and that project and look again..

Hi Roger,

just to be certain I made a fresh installation with Deep Learning Models version 20.2.0.0, which made no difference. For what came after that, please see my reply to j-v below.

@Frank-Bee the OP seems to have tagged the Post with a solution, so maybe you need to start your own thread.

You where right j-v, I ignored the message but got a very wonky picture in my preview screen:

Restarted Vegas, but the same wonky picture.
After disabling the upscaling fx and switching it on again, this disappeared and I had my normal picture back. But after rendering, there was no difference. No upscaling to be seen..........

Oh, I'm sorry. You are right vkmast. If I start a new post, how can I refer to this one? Can I copy/paste the answers I got so far? Not very good at these things......
