Vegas Pro 21, Build 300 - Stereoscopic 3D Adjust plugin hang

In build 300, the Stereoscopic 3D Adjust plugin has a problem. When you click on the Auto correct button, there is progress to 5 percent and then Vegas hangs. I've already reverted back to build 208. I was working with side-by-side-full video clips. 1440x1080 each side, 30 fps, avc.

In b300? Have you checked? It's a well known (and currently my biggest) issue now.
Doesnt work with my TD10 or TD30 standard 3d files. Or separate left-right videos.

I encountered the same thing yesterday trying out a new pair of GoPro H12's, but hesitated posting because I didn't have time to prepare a proper post.

I created 1080p proxy files from the H12 videos and tried aligning them and they also hang at 5%.

I fired up Sony V13 and aligned the 1080p versions then passed the 3D aligned project into V21 300 and the 3D alignment survived & I was able to replace the 1080p versions with the original 5K clips.

Just confirmed auto alignment works in V20.

Thanks. I have another, on-going, project using V21 so don't want to revert. I'll use V20 for the 3D correction 'til V21 get's fixed.

Hopefully this will be corrected in the next build as I will be stuck on the earlier build of Vegas 21 until it is fixed.

What can be done in the meantime: use the manual adjustment. Edit the footage - and correct it when an update will be available.

@Greg-Kintz: I think the stereo alignment works in the previous V21 release. It certainly works in V20.

I just recommended Vegas for 3D editing, then remembered this bug. Is it possible for folks to order V21 build 208 instead of 300?

Just to be sure, I'm referring to the case of someone who purchases it new: can they request it as part of the purchase?

If they get version 300 will their license allow them to download and install the previous version?

With the serial for VP21, one can use also the previous build.

....but not previous versions (#20 or earlier).with a VP 21 license. In "VEGAS speak" builds are updates of a version.

I just wanted to check because I'd been recommending Vegas for 3D work & wanted to be sure they could get useful code.

Be aware only, that a project saved in VP 21 may not open in VP 20 again.
