Vegas Pro 21 in very poor Brazilian Portuguese translation

I installed my Vegas Pro 21 this week. Everything was going wonderfully. But, when I uninstalled Vegas Pro 20, I realized that my Vegas Pro 21 was in Brazilian Portuguese. Yes, I'm Brazilian and I speak Portuguese. But, I've been using Vegas for 20 years and have never had any problems with the English interface. The problem is that Magix Vegas Pro 21 (MVP21) was poorly translated into Portuguese. For example, in the PAN/CROP window, right-clicking on the image, the popup menu will appear on the fifth line: "Não é possível abrir no editor de som. A mídia não contem áudio". This is simply wrong. The last two lines of the Edit menu are in French, not Brazilian Portuguese! In Help menu

Friends, I've already tried following the tips to change things in REGEDIT.EXE, but none of them work in MVP21.

I would really, really like the program to RESPECT my freedom to choose which language I want to use in the interface. There could be at least one option for this in Options / Preferences. Not even with Shift + Options menu does anything appear about changing the interface language.

It was because of this forced imposition that I abandoned Adobe programs in 2016. "Ahh! Your operating system is in Brazilian Portuguese? So, you must use our software in Brazilian Portuguese. Don't complain, keep quiet!" And my response was: "Bye bye, Adobe!" I was used to Adobe Illustrator in English, but the new update did a lot of shit in the Brazilian Portuguese translation.

Programs that respect the user, such as Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher, GIMP, Inkscape, Blender and many others, all allow the user to change the interface language, no matter what the operating system language is.

My suggestions for MAGIX:
1. Give the user the option to change the program interface language
2. Use native language speakers to translate the interface into the desired language.
3. Avoid making translated sentences twice the length of the original English sentences. (The Mixing Console button texts are simply twice their original size in English. Horrible!)
4. Create another line in the Help menu: "Report a problem to developers."

I'm waiting for a solution to my problem. I'm having a really hard time after Vegas Pro 21 started "speaking my language".

Why not continue using VP21 with English UI? I'm Dutch, live in Germany and use (always) the English UI.

(My OS language is not listed, I've used "English" for years.)

VEGAS should conform to the language you install it with. A bug exists right now with installer in the latest VEGAS Pro 21 update which is likely the cause of your problems. We do not force a specific language based on the operating system.

As far as the actual translation accuracy, we welcome reports of any corrections that need to be made.

I already managed to solve the problem

Vegas Install download manager vegasproedit21_dlm_47zge9.exe installs without asking questions about which language you want to install Vegas Pro 21. this is a BUG! Please, Magix, fix it!

Step 1: Uninstall Vegas Pro 21. and RESTART the computer

Step 2. Open the folder where the Vegas Pro 21 installation file is located. In my PC it is in C:\Users\vagne\Documents\MAGIX Downloads\Installationsmanager

Step 3. Copy the folder address in Windows File Explorer

Step 4. Open CMD (Start Menu, type CMD)

Step 5. With CMD open, type CD and paste the address in memory, the one you copied in step 3.

Step 6. Type DIR and press the Enter key. (Yeah, I'm a jurassic dinosaur, from the very good MS-DOS days)

Step 7. Select the entire name VEGAS_Pro_21.0.0.187_DLV_DE-EN-FR-ES-BR_231102_18-19_E4E5CB91_21_0_0_187.exe and type Ctrl+C

Step 8. Do Ctrl+V, type space and type /force. Type Enter. (VERY IMPORTANT: Don't forget the damn /force)

The installation will begin. Now, you can select one of the languages available for installation.

Hello.
I always run my software in English.
After upgrading to Vegas Pro 21 everything was fine until I removed Vegas Pro 20. Then Vegas got automatically set to Portuguese, arrgh!!
Only after reinstalling with your solution made it get back to English.
Thank you!
