Generally new releases are sometime in the summer. VEGAS team have promoted VP 22 since last summer and it's still the current software with a new update just released a few days ago.
@seetharamaiah-velicheti 3 yrs ago was April 2022, VEGAS Pro 20 was released on November 1, 2022, so you're saying they were promoting Vegas Pro 22 before they released Vegas Pro 20. 😂
These are the approximate dates for my VP14 - VP22 based on email or 1st. file downloaded date.
There's probably more accurate info elsewhere.
VP 14 .. September 2016 VP 15 .. August 2017 VP 16 .. August 2018 VP 17 .. August 2019 VP 18 .. August 2020 VP 19 .. August 2021 VP 20 .. August 2022 VP 21 .. August 2023 VP 22 .. August 2024
@vkmast Thanks, I overlooked that in the 1st. comment. Could have saved myself the trouble. The reason for starting with ver 14 is because it followed on from Sonys Ver. 13, so that does make sense. Understandably this may have thrown the OP.

Sorry it was a typing error instead of 1, I typed 3 by mistake.
I stopped purchasing Vegas Pro after Vegas Pro 19. Because, the creators were not incorporating South Asian Fonts (Indian language named as TELUGU), in Vegas Pro unlike Adobe Premiere. So as a Vegas Pro user I was compelled to purchase Adobe Photoshop for writing Telugu Titles to my music videos, then import the same into Vegas Pro, costing me avoidable expenditure. There is a very long thread of my conversations with many maestros here right from the year 2018 regarding inclusion of universal fonts in Vegas Pro but there is no use. So, either I have Vegas Pro 12 or 22 all the same for me because, I only take my music concert video from the videographer, cut it song by song, add my Telugu language intro-titles (made in Adobe Photoshop), add outro in the same way and upload in my music YouTube channel. So I am unhappy with Vegas Pro in this aspect. What to do. That is why in India all professional photographers and videograpers are using Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop all-in-one wherein all universal fonts are included with just a tick. I am the only lone unhappy user of Vegas Pro in my colony.😌😔😞
