Vegas Pro Activation Scenerios.

If I have Vegas 14 on two computers and try to install it on a third? Will you get an error or will it say no no?

What is the allowed time interval between installations? Do you have to de-activate one in order to activate another?

What is the recommended procedure and time interval invloved if you are switching back and forth between 4 computers?

And yes I have 4 machines sitting next to each other, two for messing around online and two for video. I learned from Western Electric about backup.

Lots of questions there.  Why don't you investigate and let us know what you find out?  :)

With Vegas Pro 14 by Magix, you manage your own DEactivations inside your magix.com account.

So if you need to install on the 3rd pc, you need to deactivate one of two previous activation there.

You can use MAGIX VEGAS Pro (13.0 build 543 and later) simultaneously on 2 devices. To deactivate a device so you can activate a different one, go to your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate

It will say you have no activations available since you already activate 2 computers

What is the allowed time interval between installations? Do you have to de-activate one in order to activate another?

Yes, if you already activate two, you have to de-activate one in order to activate another.

All sounds good in theory... but  JJKizak has four computers lined up ready for a reel (sic) world test.

Thanks for all of the answers. I didn't know the one time per month thing or the two machines for sure.

According to MAGIX_Eric D in the thread at https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-to-be-available-on-only-one-device--103447/#ca638249, monthly activation is no longer required. He also addresses the issues discussed here.

Nick H discusses this in his FAQ (points 9. and 10.).

Compare also with the current EULA (points 3. and 4.).
