okay so a while back like years ago i purchased sony vegas but i had then lost access to the laptop because it had died i feel it is DISCUSTING YOU CHARGE £300 FOR A LISCIENSE THAT YOU THEN CHARGE PEOPLE AGAIN WHEN YOU FORCE THEM TO UPDATE!

If you have the legit serial number ("lisciense") of your "sony vegas" (version #13 or earlier) please see if you can download it from https://www.magix.com/int/support/my-service-center/product-downloads/

If you don't find your registered serial number, please try logging on to your old SCS account here https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/myaccount/mysoftware

But check also https://www.magix.com/int/support/my-service-center/ especially in case you actually happen to have a VEGAS from MAGIX (v. #14 or later).
