Vegas Pro Upgrade Says "starting at $149" but click link and its $169

I have Vegas Pro 20. I get a pop up that says "Vegas Pro 21 starting from only $149". I click the link and it shows $169.

Also under "Suite" it shows "Suite 365 Subscription". Is this included with the cost of the suite ($219)? or is this an additional monthly fee? I don't see pricing or any way to sign up for that either.

The pop-up you mention shows "a limited-time bundle (perpetual license upgrade) offer" which includes the NewBlue Essentials 5 Ultimate add-on. The offer is available until October 24, 2023. The "regular" offers are lower (starting at $149, e.g. Pro 21 Edit is $149 and Pro 21 Suite $199) without that add-on at the website. Please see prices for 365 Subscription options there as well. I don't see any 365 Subscriptions included in that popup offer or in the similar email offer.

Thank you. I'm seeing now. It's very confusing how they have the different packages and pricing options set up.

Another trap with the pop-up pricing offers is the ambiguous currency. I am a long time Vegas user with many upgrades over the years and my account shows Vegas that I am from Australia. However, I often get a pop-up offer for $xxx and it is only when clicking all the way through to the checkout it is suddenly revealed that the pricing was in (the heftier) US$ and not the Au$ that I have paid Vegas in the past. Quite a number of clicks before finding out you are being asked to pay up to 50% than you first expected. A simple US$ symbol on my pop-up could have avoided this.

@Mobby as mentioned here, "If you continue paying for your 365 subscription ("abonnement"), you should be able to upgrade without any extra costs."

If you upgrade your perpetual versio of VP 20 to VP 21. it's not "free" but you are eligible for upgrade pricing.
