I Have few mutual that is certified from Blackmagic, even adobe as a Trainer, which they will make a class and get a certs in the end of the learning process. I was selected (only 20 editors is selected out of 150+ submission) to go for Davinci Resolve Class, sponsored by FINAS (National Film Development Corporation Malaysian) which last about 4 days. The trainer is off course BM certified. But the class is now put on hold due to Covid19 situations.

It Would be great VEGAS make something similar in small scale to make the brand look more "exclusive" & interesting.

I've seen adobe too, but not much compare to BM.

Did Sony used to have a Vegas Professional certification or the like? I agree that would be great.

Even more helpful would be to have a proper training course for Vegas Pro. I had used a course on Lynda (now LinkedIn Learning) but it was for an old version of Vegas and the course had less contents than for other NLEs.

Yes, I took that many years ago being a "SCVT" ("Sony certified Vegas trainer").

It would be cool to do something like this again like we had at our previous company. At this point, it is not likely to happen any time soon just because we simply do not have the resources and manpower to set up and execute a program of this sort.

That would be awesome as I am just starting off and there is much to learn.
