Video effects not working anymore

Hi.

I have a Movie Studio 16.0 purchased online somedays ago. I used the video effects sometimes before and they worked properly. Now they not working anymore. None of them. When I try to apply the effects, nothing happens. The "split screen view" is on.

Would you help me, please?

It should be set to "off".

I need to apply blur to part of the video. Yesterday I made it. Today the effects stopped working.

In the screenshot above the FX settings are set to zero, thus there cannot be any visible FX.

If the button in blue in the screenshot below is blue, click it to turn it off.
