VP19 Edit Upgrade $89 USD

Reyfox wrote on 2/18/2022, 5:27 AM

If you wanted to upgrade an older Vegas Pro to Vegas Pro 19, but the cost was a little to much for you, I would think that now is the time to do it. This is the lowest prices I've ever seen for Vegas Pro Edit as an upgrade, $89 USD.

And I thought I got a good deal during the past holidays for $107, which at the time was the lowest I've seen.

And yes, you can keep your old version of Vegas and VP19 at the same time.

Yes, that is an excellent upgrade offer. Vegas Pro upgrade pricing even going back to Sony days has always made upgrading an attractive proposition. BorisFX upgrade pricing has also been good though much better at bargain times like Black Friday; ditto with NewBlueFX; iZotope upgrades via Loyalty Upgrades are a bit hit-and-miss; but by far the worst in my sphere has to be FXHome where upgrade pricing has been at about 90% of the new purchase price - barely an acknowledgement of loyalty.

@vkmast I saw the post, but wanted others who even don't look there would see this one. It's an outstanding upgrade offer from VEGAS. Maybe others would take notice and upgrade if they've been on the fence.

Very good deal- thanks for pointing it out.

@Reyfox I posted my comment just to add related relevant info. It may well be that most posters totally overlook the Price Watch thread, so I'm only pleased that you brought up here these excellent special offers.

(There are too many pinned posts already, so no space for the PW thread there ATM. And does anyone read stickies anyway?)

Reyfox wrote on 2/18/2022, 12:21 PM

@vkmast thanks. I do read the "stickies" when there is something new there. When I saw the price to upgrade to Vegas Edit, I thought that those who are VMS users and wanted to upgrade, but the $119 was too high, this is a great price, and they don't have to worry about going to that other software learning everything over again.

They will have much more flexibility and features, and will be working in a familiar editing environment.

Previous version of what? Be careful as it's a completely different programme to VEGAS Movie Studio. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/information-movie-studio-2022-is-not-a-vegas-product--133018/

@EricLNZ I'm guessing MEP.... certainly not VMS. Have you posted the new VP price on the VMS side of the forum? It might spur some on to upgrade.

Yep. Apologies, but I hadn't see that thread...I guess it is kinda off-topic.
