According to the product pages SF Pro14 is not included with VP 18 Edit. SL Pro 7 is the current bonus also with Edit.

That's what I thought too .. but when I open VP17 this offer appears? It made me believe SF was part of the upgrade. Misleading to say the least.

that is the notice I got, but I knew it would be for edit. Found SL PRO 7. Yes it does come with edit.

I see the same upgrade offer as @xberk when I open VP17, even after upgrading, but SF14 was not included in my upgrade.

Home-built ASUS PRIME Z270-A, i7-7700K, 32GB; Win 10 Pro x64 (22H2);
- Intel HD Graphics 630 (built-in); no video card; ViewSonic VP3268-4K display via HDMI
- C: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB; + several 10TB HDDs
- Røde AI-1 via Røde AI-1 ASIO driver;

@douglas_clark so you have got the VEGAS Pro 18 Edit version.

I only get the pop-ups in my installed SCS versions. They include "from".

douglas_clark wrote on 8/11/2020, 1:22 PM

Correct @vkmast - I upgraded to VP18 Edit.

The upgrade pop-up in my VP17 (edit) is a bit different than yours...

(and still active even after buying the VP18 upgrade)

It says firmly "$199" and not "from $199" and definitely gives the impression that SF14 is included in the $199 upgrade price.

The actual upgrade order pages for VP18 did not show anything about SF14, and I checked the version comparison chart to clarify this. Although the SF14 freebie was not a deciding factor for me, I would have welcomed a copy. Magix' popup announcements and enticing marketing mails could be a bit clearer about what is included in which version, rather than burying it in the version comparison chart. 😏
