What is the preferred file format for DVD studio

I have 5 videos that I created and want to make a DVD in DVD studio. What is the best file format to save the videos in for this. (i.e. .avi, .mp4, etc)

Well...I'm no expert but have learned the following from this forum.

I've made two DVD projects with my own songs, pictures and a video segment.
I render the video/pics timeline only as MPEG-2
Then I render the audio only as AC-3.
Then I use DVD architect to make the final DVD.
Check the tutorials provided which are pretty good.
Oh...I'm using Movie Studio Platinum 9.0b.

I'm little help as I'm still learning too.
Hopefully others will chime in for more thorough assistance.

That's correct, when you want to make the DVD's.
