I regularly use SMSv12 and keep "Old projects" - just in case. On reviewing recently all was fine . . . except one, where the LH,top panel appear to have lost the Media - yet the Timeline is correct and plays correctly - it appeared to be an "Unfinished" project...
Looking for the Media-biins, I'm puzzled - so I revert "Layout" to one I used about a year ago- and as if by magic the whole program is off the screen.
By opening another copy of the (dot)vf file I am back to the layout with the missing Media-bins.... so maybe I should try switch to the original layout option . . . .
----but here's the issue, at the start-bar ( bottom of screen) I have SMSv12 and if I click on it the programs flies to the right ( off the monitor)...if I click again it flies back, ( from behind the screen, somewhere?) - but I get a fleeting glimpse as it returns to the Icon.
Where is it . . . .that's the Q.... I'm supposing that changing the Windows Layout ( Control Panel) ...might let me see the edge of the frame, but this requires restarting the PC every change...
For the life of me I can't understand "Why" I would move if out of view . . . and wonder also why the Media Bin went missing, leaving "Transitions" and Media Generator" tabs.
I managed to "close" SMS, but presume that particular (dot)vf file will always fall off the monitor screen.
Other programs appear to work on the screen correctly aligned.
I suspect this is a "Windows" fault in that the "origin" of displays can't be investigated and corrected- at least by me, they can't-yet.
Thoughts please.....
