Although this FAQ is created for Vegas Pro, but no. 4 can apply to Movie Studio 12 Platinum too. Hope helps.

This does not answer my question...... it is not for Sony Vegas Movie Studio 12 platinum..... I just want to know how to check for the latest build for my software... not vegas pro..... It was easy in the sony forum... it must be somewhere still.... Thanks

Yes it does...4. 4b. @Nel. here is a longer version. Substitute 12 for 13.

Note that moviestudiope12.0.1184_64bit.exe was the last one. And check your My Account, referred to in 2b. in set's link, but don't download the installer there. If you now have build 896, no need to update.
