Why won't Vegas Pro 20.0 Work Without Crashing or Rendering Properly?

I have had tons of trouble with the new version of Vegas Pro 20.0.

First of all, it crashes every chance it gets. How do I prevent that?

Secondly, it automatically loops my videos, which I have tried to turn off but can't. Rendering has been an issue because of that. Any rendering suggestions for quicker turnaround time?

Third of all, my video preview REFUSES to uncheck the FX Bypass option.

It has literally taken me three days of STRUGGLE and I still haven't finished my video yet, which I am eager to do.

Any advice? I'm desperate, and I can't find the Vegas support email to request a refund/a version of this program that works.

@Jill-OBrien Hi, to help you with your problems more information is required, there's a post at the top of this page https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/ mainly your PC specs, what CP (processor), GPU (Graphics card) & amount of RAM (Memory), which version of Vegas & Windows you have,

Also the type of media you're using will make a difference to performance, so in that link there's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍

@Jill-OBrien the software does work as I (and many others) are editing with it. Myself, right now.

As @Former user gave you a link, answer "B" an "C". Screenshots help. And again, be specific. What were you doing when it crashed.

Your video automatically loops? A screen shot of your timeline and Preview window will help. Are you referring to timeline playback or actual rendering of the video.

For me, VP20 is working quite well.
