Will Vegas Pro projects open in Vegas Pro Edit?

If I were to have Vegas Pro 14 and then switch to a new computer with Vegas Pro 14 Edit, would my old project files still open?
Sorry if this has been asked before but I could not find an answer anywhere.

Vegas Pro Edit has the same core VPro as VPro, but no DVD A.
