Sorry for another stupid post and wasting valuble font space.. But I was wondering if a loyal customer just bought VP15Suite as an upgrade,should that customer have to pay upgrade $ for VP16 which magix is giving away now with VP15?

I'm just venting. Why does this deceitful and probably profitable practice done without any consideration for the loyal base customers?

I don't mean to whine😥, but something just aint right about this...

I do have much respect for this forum, and I was hoping to make sense of this new marketing launch for Ver 16 pro.

You could contact Magix and see what they say. We have no control over their marketing.

I think you would have cause to complain if you upgraded to v15 within a month of v16 coming out, so therefore if you waited a month you could have paid the same amount to upgrade to v16, but I don't think V16 is being released that early.

 

They're just giving a bonus to people who pay for the full version of v15 now. I don't believe that means V16 will be released in a few weeks. (unless you know otherwise)

The VP 15+16 email offer (currently still on) that some have received from Magix says that [you'll] "get Version 16 for free as soon as the software is released at the end of August 2018."
