@vkmast I already sent them an email 1 day before the renewal of the contract, as per the terms and conditions about cancellation of 1 month payments. No one responded to me, and I got charged the following day. This is so stupid.
Did you cancel the ddm at the bank? When I have written to a company informing them of the cancellation of a ddm, I inform the bank and cancel the ddm at their end too. The company can try at their hearts content to collect, but it's never going to happen. However, as commented by the bank on it's website, a cancellation request needs to be 5 days in advance to allow application.
