3D transitions glitching when rendering in 4K?

@Easyweb Yep those 3D transitions aren't the best, there's been other comments reg them not playing well, & the lines seem to be just part of them & no matter what pc secs will remove them

Like i say they render ok but don't play well in the Preview in Vegas, my CPU reaches 100% at times during the render,

'I'm not really all that technical' - if you have a look at my specs vs yours you would expect mine to play anything without a prob but those 3D transitions are a bit messed up, there's often a difference in playback/render between different peoples Intel & AMD CPU's , & different makes of GPU's,

My CPU - AMD 32GB, your CPU - Intel 4GB

My RAM 256GB, your RAM 16GB

& My GPU 24GB, your GPU - 4GB

But i can't get those 3D to play well, it's a Vegas issue 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ but the 4k render bit is poss your underpowered PC.

There's more to it than this so someone will prob correct me? 😂👍👴🤸‍♂️😏

The noise is also visible in 2k, but less than in 4k. The noise is best seen at the spin transition.

Yeah, they obviously need some improvement as it is pretty much making them unusable now which is a shame really as they actually are really good but with them being a problem on 4K and above more so, it's pretty much making them pointless. Specially when you consider how video is evolving, it's not going to be long until 4K is standard really, if it isn't already 😊

Yeah, I'm going to upgrade my PC anyway, I've been looking into getting a new build at some point and having this PC as a backup (which I need to work out how to install Vegas on the new PC as I'm not sure how many PC's I can have it on when I purchased it and would like to have it set up on both) but I do want to upgrade either way, like you say it could possibly be my underpowered PC though they really shouldn't be a problem on these set up's really but yeah 😊

I really do appreciate your time and help though, truly!! 😊

Yeah, it's mainly in the spins and things like that, you'll also notice on the "3D Fly Away" when the image moves off the screen it leaves a trail of noise on the screen which looks horrible, I'm guessing you see it more in 4K as you say but it really is only those 3D transitions that are like this as everything else is absolutely fine, just those one's which aren't great.

Again, thank you so much to all who have kindly added their insights, hopefully the team will fix this and improve them as they are aware now, so fingers crossed we see it sorted at some point as I do really like these transitions a lot and I really want to use them but at the moment they're pretty much unusuable.

Thanks again, I really do appreciate you truly!! 😊

Aw that's awesome, thank you so much!! 🙏🏼😊

Really grateful for that as I would want to put Vegas on the new PC once I have it but also want to keep it on my current one with my projects and settings etc.. so I appreciate that, thank you!! 😊🙏🏼

We confirm that there are problems with those 3D transitions. They seem to have been there from the start several years ago, but only really become so obvious in 4k projects. We've got it on our list and will look into what can be done. Thank you for reporting it, and sorry for the problems.

Aw thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it!!!

Yeah please do, those 3D transitions are one of the things I want to use the most in the programme when I bought it so please be so kind to fix these and make them better when you can!! 😊🙏🏼

And thank you so much, I really appreciate you being so kind to do this so thank you!! ❤️🙏🏼

Probably those 3D transitions could be easily implemented in the new GL Transistion which also have some 3D transition FX already.

@Easyweb Yeah i work only in 4k now unless i'm uploading on a website like here or Facebook, i read the rest of this comment & yeah a new PC would be good, but i just want to point out that they're not a problem with 4k, they're a problem with all aspect ratios, you have to separate the issues, 1. there's an issue with the transitions as Gary has admitted & 2. there's an issue with your PC not being able to handle 4k, in the sentence above you're combining the two, sorry I'm not being pedantic i just wanted to mention this, I can render those transitions in 4k no prob, but the transitions themselves have the noise in them whatever aspect ratio & they don't play well in any ratio but 4k is 4x bigger than 2k,
