5.1 Sound in Bluray

Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but:
I have just started using Vegas HD Platinum V10, having finally given up on Pinnacle Studio / Avid. I have edited a DVD with 5.1 sound, but when I go into DVD Architect, and select New Project, if I select 'Bluray Disc', I only get the option of PCM Stereo, whereas if I select 'DVD' I get 5.1 sound as an option. I'm using a Sony HD camcorder with 5.1 sound, and I've burnt an 'ordinary' DVD with 5.1 sound on it OK, so I' just a bit confused ! Can anyone help please ? Cheers.

DVD Architect Studio does not have the ability to burn 5.1 to Blu-ray, as you have discovered. The Pro version can do that, but can only be bought as part of Vegas Pro. package.

You should be able to add 6-ch discrete PCM to your project and get the same result, at the expense of some space on the disc.
