Just goes to show you cant please everyone! (sigh).... Vegas users cries for years for the Vegas GUI to change

to a darker universal editing tone, exactly like how it is now.... And now that it has changed, users are again

complaining that they want back the old look.... What are the Vegas engineers to do?

However, the old interface look can still be selected in the preferences option.

No, some Vegas users cried for change, other asked very clearly not to change the GUI.

I agree that you can chalk some of my comment up to "but that's not what I'm used to" and I'll eventually get over it. But, it seems weird that the icons have changed so much to look like something from the 90s. Also strange that they are so small and lack contrast with the background. Just doesn't work well for me. For example, It's tough to tell if "ripple edits" is engaged.

I was never a fan of the dark GUI. Always turned that off in v10 and prior when it was introduced. Maybe I'll try it again to see if I can get used to it. But, I recall it hurt my eyes in the past.

You can change the highlight color in Options > Preferences > Display > Button Highlight Color. Try pure red or white.
