a pink look about everything

I am editing video as normal and everything is going well until the some of the video display and some of the sound file events have taken on a pink tinge where it normally would be white.

What have I done to deserve this ?

Does it look like in the picture in the link below? If so,
maybe you did something that video and audio events are now unsyncronized?
Repairing audio/video synchronization offsets
To restore synchronization, right-click the audio or video event you want to synchronize, choose Synchronize from the shortcut menu, and then choose a command from the submenu:

Thank you. I was aware of the synchronisation and I have to watch that a lot when editing but I think it was something to do with the general screen setting. Whatever it has gone now.
